I have a very bad gag reflex which caused extreme anxiety going to the dentist because I didn’t know what to expect. I would worry that something would happen while I was getting work done. A friend of mine said you have to see Dr. Barrett Straub. Finally, I broke down and went.

I’ve been coming to Straub Dentistry for about ten years now and Dr. Straub is the best. I’ve experienced other dentists in my life, and there’s noone that compares to him in terms of chairside manner and communication of what’s going on. Dr. Straub communicated my conerns to the rest of the office, and they were very patient. They already knewbefore my visit to give me more time in certain situations or allowed me to take a break. This was something that really stood out and made me realize, “Wow, it’s different here.”

I never smiled or showed my teeth for 25 years. Dr. Straub helped me change that. I see it as a transformation from where I was to where I am now. I think he’s the best around, and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

People think I’m nuts when I say I love going to the dentist. My family and I started coming to see Dr. Barrett Straub 12 years ago based on the recommendation of a friend. I was not happy where I was going and knew I needed some dental work done. My husband also wanted to start Invisalign®.

It was the best decision I ever made. My first visit was great. Dr. Straub was kind, considerate, and he went through my treatment options with me. Dr. Barrett Straub has set the standard when it comes to dental offices. There’s an expectation of consistent care every time you walk through the door. He has a very structured process that you go through when becoming a new patient regardless of how old you are.

My husband and I, and our three children have been coming to Straub Dentistry for almost 5 years now. We will continue to come here because the office is very professional, the team is so outgoing and Dr. Straub is just a very good dentist. He is so generous and kind to the kids and talks to them at their level. He remembers things about our family and always asks how we are doing. He does his best to accommodate our busy family which we appreciate.

After a visit to the office, the kids always love the cookies. You’ll leave feeling like you were with family and it really has become like a family here. We would tell families new to the area that there’s no better dentist than Dr. Straub. He’s the dentist we pick to see in Port Washington.

Sedation at Straub Dentistry is amazing! I knew I needed dental work done and hadn’t been to the dentist in 10 years. When I was searching for a sedation dentist and I found out Dr. Barrett Straub offered it, I contacted them right away. I needed them to understand I have a sensitive gag reflex and have concerns about it. They reassured me during my first visit and treated me with patience and understanding during treatment. I was able to do multiple treatments at one and I didn’t even know I was having dental work done. I saved time and didn’t need multiple appointments.

I don’t worry about going to the dentist anymore, as long as it is Dr. Straub. I would highly encourage anyone looking for a sedation dentist to talk to Dr. Straub. Oh, and they have the best Chocolate Chip Cookies at check out.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Straub since 2017 when I read an article about him and was thoroughly impressed with his advanced technology and modern office. I needed a few dental implants and wanted porcelain veneers for a whiter smile. He addressed my needs and now I see him for routine hygiene. Every time I come in for treatment, they have my favorite music playing in my room since they remembered I like the Beatles. It’s the little things that make a big difference.
